Responsibility As the project architect and the principal-in-charge of Herfort Norby, Kevin will be directly responsible for assessing the site and preparing all plans and specifications. He will be the individual primarily responsible for communicating with the client throughout the design and approval process and will be present at all meetings with the client and the contractor.

Professional Experience Kevin began his career in 1976 as a land planner and landscape architect. In 1990, while designing improvements at Superior National Golf Course, Kevin met Don Herfort. Since that time, he has been responsible for the design of over 35 golf course projects throughout the central United States, Canada and the Carribean. Kevin’s attention to detail and passion for golf combined with his experience in golf course design and construction allow him to create courses that are both enjoyable and financially successful.

Recent Projects
Recent projects include the Refuge Golf Club in Oak Grove, Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Elko, Forest Hills Golf Club in Forest Lake and Rathbun Golf Links at Honey Creek State Park in Centerville, Iowa. Kevin’s responsibilities include conducting the site analysis process, preparation of plans and specifications, wetlands approval, contractor selection, construction observation and contract administration.
