We begin the process by getting to know our client and developing an understanding of their goals, their preferences and the niche which their course will occupy in the local market. We walk the site and use topographic maps to insure that we take advantage of existing features and vistas which will enhance the course.

Once the design phase is complete, we prepare detailed plans and typewritten specifications, which can be used for cost estimating, bidding and construction. Whether using our own shapers or taking advantage of the competitive bid process, this insures that both the client and the contractor thoroughly understand the scope of the project prior to breaking ground.

During construction we make frequent visits to the site to monitor progress and to look for opportunities to make the course better. We believe that having a regular presence on site allows us to focus on the details of the design and to insure that the contractor stays on schedule and on budget. We have developed a reputation for exceeding our client's expectations by focusing on creative design, careful documentation and client communication.

Our hands-on approach ensures that proper consideration is given to all aspects of the golf course design and construction process and that we understand and respect the original goals established by our client.
